Animal Crossing Wild World - Special Visitors
OK, now these guys are worth reading about! The Special Visitors are also useful to know about, and here we tell you a bit more about the dates and times you can expect them to visit your town, some information about them and maybe even a trivia tip or to! All of the neat items you can garnish from special visitors are well worth while.
Cornimer (turtle)
Cornimer comes to town for 24 hours a day during the acorn festival, the second week of October. If you find him wearing his Acorn mask during the Acorn festival and have the acorns to spare he will sell you the rare Mush Series furniture. A bit mysterious and with a name to match Cornimer looks a lot like Mayor Tortimer - but ... hey, he's not. After all he has a stoop and is wearing a mask right? Just be certain you don't pass any rotten acorns though - otherwise Cornimer will take all of your acorns and refuse to give you a gift at all!

Redd aka Crazy Redd (fox) 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. on random days Redd will set up with Lyle. To listen to Redd tell it he has the best deals in town, and in all honesty some items you find at Redd's can't be found elsewhere. But even those might have fallen off a truck. You can talk to Copper to find out when Redd will be in town, look for his flyer in the mail or set up something with Lyle. He is a good source for paintings although be careful as some are not authentic and Blathers will reject them at the museum. You will either need to pay to become a member, OR if you talk to your neighbors you can get the password from an existing member. Redd is useful in trading but be careful. |
Lyle (weasel)
In front of your house from 6:00am-6:00pm every Saturday. Lyle, Redd's partner in crime and greed shows up like clockwork and will try to sell you insurance which you can't refuse unless you can't afford it. Unlike his brown suit and tasteless black clip-on ties the insurance is not inexpensive - but since you need Lyle to book when Redd will come to town and the insurance can reimburse you whenever you are either stung by a bee or by Redd in the form of a forged painting you pretty much have to deal. Don't worry; your money will come in the mail! Ok ... so the insurance isn't very good - so just don't have over 6,000 bells on you when you leave the house on Saturday or just don't talk to Lyle if you don't need Crazy Redd and his marvelous merchandise.
