Animal Crossing: Wild World is a life-simulation game developed by Nintendo for its own portable system, the Nintendo DS. It is the follow-up to the 2002 Nintendo GameCube title Animal Crossing. Wild World shares many similarities to its predecessor, but also contains many improvements, both big and small. The most prominent difference is the DS title's ability to utilize the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for online play. It is the second Nintendo-developed title to do so, following Mario Kart DS.
